I am not able to share many specifics on my projects work for legal reasons. While at Arup, I am developing my technical skills and knowledge of building systems and design. Communication and interdisciplinary coordination are at the heart of my work as a Mechanical Engineer, and I place an emphasis on becoming strong in those areas as a supplement to my technical work. I have detailed a few of my project below.

Commercial Fitout Projects (confidential)

My role:

  • Perform load models on interior spaces using IESVE and/or Trane TRACE 700

  • Design HVAC systems to meet client standards and code requirements

  • Coordinate designs across internal disciplines (Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, etc) and with architect

University Recreation Center

  • Review contractor submittals

  • Answer RFIs (requests for information) from contractor

Expansion Tank Sizing Automation

Python Calculation

My role:

  • Analyze existing process for sizing expansion tanks to meet project load

  • Develop calculations in Python to perform necessary calculations

  • Integrate calculation in an Excel sheet for ease of use

The Fields Film Studio
