I love to problem solve, design, and create. This passion began as a kid with LEGOs, and eventually led me to develop engineering solutions through my education and work experiences. I believe in tackling projects with empathy and curiosity, digging to the root of the problem with a people-centered mindset and developing a useful, innovative solution.

 

I’m currently a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Arup in Chicago, IL, where I leverage my engineering and problem solving skills to design building systems with an emphasis on sustainability. In that work, I supplement my technical work with a strong ability to communicate with both other Arup disciplines and outside clients and vendors. I am also a member of the Illinois Green Alliance, the Urban Land Institute, and ASHRAE, regularly attending events and meeting a wide array of people within the built environment.

 

I am originally from Newton, MA, a suburb of Boston, and I remain an avid Boston sports fan (I'm an especially big basketball fan, go Celtics!). I love to cook, and I've developed an emphasis on homemade pasta dough and sauce. During vacation periods, I try to do as much travel as I can; I love seeing new places and trying new foods.
